Procedure to Check Your SRD Grant Status

Visit the SASSA SRD Grant Website:
Go to the official SASSA SRD Grant website
to begin.
Click on ‘Check your Status’:
Once you’re on the homepage, locate and click on the option that says "Check your Status."
Enter Your Details:
You will be prompted to enter your ID number and the cellphone number you used during your application process.
Select ‘Send PIN’:
After entering the required details, select the option to receive a PIN, which will be sent to your registered cellphone number.
Enter the PIN:
Once you receive the PIN, enter it in the provided field to confirm your identity.
View Your Status:
After submitting the PIN, your SRD grant status will be displayed. You will see whether your application is approved, declined, or still pending.
Check for Updates Regularly:
If your status is pending, check back periodically, as updates may take time to reflect.
If Status is Declined:
If your application is declined, you may have the option to appeal. Follow the appeal instructions on the website or the process to reapply.
